I have started to become interested in using CBD oil, and just wondering if those who use it could give me some feedback on how it helps your symptoms.

I am also interested to hear of any brands that you might like the best.

I have a multitude of symptoms, but think the oil might help sleep issues, pain and anxiety.

Thanks!

Are you referring to CBD oil made from hemp? Are you in a legal state to get a cannabis medical card?

I am in a legal state and make cannabis oil at home. I find that it is better to have a little thc in the mix. Great for pain, anxiety, sleep etc.

I've used CBD oil that my LLMD recommended. It's supposed to take 21 days to feel effects but didn't work for me.

It didn't have thc and am wondering if there are any that do have it?

The Sacred Plant site did a cannabis summit in June. Many used it for Lyme symptoms. What I heard it abated most of all was pain.

I know a girl who can't function without it, it helps her pain a lot.

I have a client with bad scoliosis who uses CBD for pain. She has found the kind with some THC works better than the kind with none. I guess you get get it with different proportions. Hers has a little.

I was having bad hip pain for a couple months. She let me use hers (she vapes) and the pain instantly vanished for about 6 hours.

Faithful, I'd like to know how to make CBD myself. I live in a legal state. Could you let me know where to go for instructions on that or could you tell me how? Also, knowing a good CBD site/ forum would be helpful.

The Sacred Plant site offer expisode 1 of 7 for free.

I used this one, that has stable effects (it does not depend on quality of hemp oil).

It is hemp oil infused through a plasma technology with blueprints of 8 other medicinal high quality hemp (THC is high).

I also used another of their products, which is PURE hemp blueprint (without ANY hemp oil whatsoever), and I do love it too. It's extremely relaxing.

The hemp oil above dealt with an acute gout attack so fast. It was incredible how it could stop that gout attack (from husband). Just 20 drops, that was all he needed.

His gout did not come back, so far...

I tried the one made from hemp that you can get online and it didn't do much for me. I got the card for the medical dispensary in my state on recommendation of my LLMD and the one I got from them made a huge difference. It was terribly expensive though $100 for less than 3 weeks worth.

Thank you so much for all of the info. It's very much appreciated.

Hi Brussels, Thank you for the suggestions. I looked on the site, but couldn't see the second oil you like, called PURE hemp blueprint. Are you certain that you bought it from there? Or perhaps they have discontinued it.

If your state allows you to grow, it is much less expensive to make oil if you grow your own plants.

I order enough seeds for a year, keep them in the fridge and it never costs more than $300. That is for growing 12 plants every 2 months or so.

The real thing provides more relief than anything from hemp.

No, I'm pretty sure it's theirs.

They do not disclose all products to the public, for reasons we all know.

They're in business for 30 years or more, so they know how to keep alive in this health business.

No open disclosure, no big claims, that's it.

the advantage with blueprints is that they choose the absolute best types of hemp they could put their hands on. They chose much more than 8, but these 8 species (or samples) were the best of all.

Once they get each blueprint, they can reproduce it as many times they want, be it on another hemp oil, sesame oils, salt, water, even on a T-shirt (I'm not kidding).

The big advantage is that they INCREASE the potency of the herb as many times they want.
And you get no side effects.

The disadvantage, is that possibly, not everyone is able to take energy medicine with same effects (as some people seem to shut for energies, for whatever reasons...)

Either you may call them and ask if they would not sell you one without hemp oil (just infused in salt and vit C) or you got to order through a practitioner.

You may mention formula A360.
I think that's their code for these 8 hemp blueprints.

In LN, I think Lookup can order anything (she's a practitioner). You don't pay more, it's exactly the same as ordering through them.

I mean, just in case they do not want to sell you directly, you could try sending a PM to her. She's though busy, it may take some time for her to answer you...

Be skeptical of "miracle" stories.

I've been trying many (THC-free) CBD oils and don't see much yet. Maybe there needs to be some THC; however, THC then causes a "high," which can affect activities like work.

Genes may play a role in how responsive you will be. 23&me tests for four Cannabinoid Receptor genes. (I have some mutations here; this may explain why I don't see much from relatively huge doses of CBD oil, while other people claim "miracles" from tiny amounts--they may have fewer mutations and more responsive receptors).

With MMJ it's the Wild West; you basically have to be a guinea pig and experiment on yourself (like with just about every other treatment out there for these chronic conditions).

I only use edibles; luckily more edibles (I use tinctures) are appearing on the market. Sativa (TCH) tincture helps me with sleep (though too much causes a hangover).

Prohealth sells a Quiksilver brand CBD oil that's liposomal; maybe that's more effective than regular oils.

I think Joe Cohen on selfhacked dot com said he prefers Elixinol brand CBD oil (they also have liposomal products). (They're ALL expensive...)

As far as I know, hemp oil gives absolutely no hype feeling. It's sold here in healthy food shops.

That is what I took above.

There are chocolate puddings made with hemp milk, meaning, pressing hemp seeds to make 'milk' the same way that there is soya milk, rice milk, etc...

I wonder how much of that pudding one has to get to get a hype, but I guess, eating very ripe bananas would be faster(due to alcohol).

Whose got a miracle story here?

I'm just talking about a different energetic product produced from hemp and CBD.

Take it or not, it's your choice.

Hemp oil quality largely varies like most plant chemicals varies from batch to batch.

At least, the product I mention is done by a reputable company, that's been on business for more than 30 years, and on the head of the research team, there are only full time researchers, not salespeople...

Just to clarify things, based on my understanding.... CBD will not cause any psychoactive effects on its own (won't make you feel high), but most people agree that it is also not particularly well used by the body without some THC present. THC is what causes the high.

I'm in a legal state, and at our local dispensary it is possible to get a 20:1 ratio of CBD to THC in a tincture, which I'm experimenting with at the moment. Since I have a low tolerance to THC, I need something that will provide pain relief without impairing my ability to function -- and it seems to be an individual matter of how much CBD to THC is optimal for any particular person. I did a consult with the staff at our dispensary about this topic -- they were extremely helpful.

Let us know how it goes.

The product I told above has 8 blueprints of THC + the chemical hemp oil WITH THC.

The blueprints of THC are said to cause zero side effects according to the small research that the company Vital Force did...

I can't even tolerate hemp seeds, but I could tolerate the blueprint of hemp with THC above.

It felt EXTREMELY relaxing! No bad effects at all for me.

I now give the same CBD oil that Brussels is talking about to my husband and daughter for their migraines. Apparently it works. My husband used to take 4 -5 ibuprofen pills to stop the headache. Once he experienced CBD oil, he is asking me for the CBD.

I took it once myself for the foot cramps. When I herx I sometimes have it. One night it was severe. I took 7 drops of CBD oil - and felt asleep few minutes later forgetting about the cramps.

Hey Anuta, I did not know you were using it too!!

Husband used it only 2x, because of gout. Since his gout did not return, he never used it again.

Nice to know it helps with cramps!

I did an ionic foot bath 2 days ago. Next day, I started having muscular pain, as though I climbed a mountain...

Today, the pain was strong, I had cramps, I'm upping my dose of magnesium, but you gave me a good idea!!

I can't take too much Magnesium because I'm on a raw diet and it does make my GI overwork...

How the heck can one have terrible muscular pains after an ionic foot bath?!

I'm going to try the CBD NOW!!!

In the beginning, I was skeptical about CBD oil and its magical features. But after I suffered from insomnia, and nothing helped me, starting from herbal teas and finishing with prescribed medicine, I decided to try CBD oil. Surprisingly it worked for me, and the most important thing I didn’t have a headache on the next day like I used to have after prescribed sleeping pills. I use it occasionally, before important meetings or presentations, to calm down and look more confident.

I've read a lot about CBD, but haven't tried its effect yet

Yes, I tried it. I started using it because I had trouble sleeping, and CBD helped me. Usually, it took me an hour or two to wake up and go back to sleep. When I used it for a few months, I noticed that I didn't feel as tired when awake as I usually do. I stopped waking up in the middle of the night, and my sleep got stronger. I don't know what dosage you need for your symptoms, but 750 mg in gummies was enough for me

**ad removed**

Good bye!

Ironically CBD oil kept me awake. Guess everyone reacts differently.

Sleep/wake effects may be dose & formula dependent:

I've been using CBD oil for about six months now and I have to say, it's been a game-changer for me.
