I was just diagnosed with lyme and babesia duncani. I have had severe anxiety and panic attacks along with terrible sweating at night and off/on during the day. Is this all due to the lyme and babesia and will it ever go away? Feeling terrible and depressed today. This all started a year ago and I had been to at least 10 doctors and they all told me it was in my head.

Hang in there lindadanis.
We will help all we can. [group hug]

You need to educate yourself on Lyme disease and become your own health advocate. To do this, start here;

https://sites.google.com/site/marylandlyme/jarisch-herxheimer-herx

I started you on a link to 'herxs' because that is what you are experiencing now. But this website also has everything you NEED to learn ! Knowledge is power.

You will have ups and downs. There is no quick fix.

Things are going to get worse before they get better.

Bad days will lead you to question your own sanity, but you can't lose control here. This stage is critical to get through.

After starting treatment you will experience 'die off' or a herxheimer reaction. This can be scary and debilitating. You must detox the toxins that are overloading your body.

Your body is in a fragile state.

This disease will not go away without a fight and they make that clear on your worst days.

You are going to get through this. Many others have gotten well. Stay the coarse.

Eat the right foods, sleep, keep stress levels low. Detox nasty toxins out if body.

Patience and persistence.

Keep treating, keep fighting. Bb 💚

thank you so much for your help. I feel like I am going out of my mind honestly. I have had this for over a year and was undiagnosed until two weeks ago. My llmd never told me about liver support that people mention here and how do I detox? Epson salt baths, drink lots of lemon water, any other suggestions? My daughter had lyme 15 years ago but she didn't have babesia and I think a lot of my symptoms with anxiety and panic is due to this, am I right?

I started the mephron last Monday, by Thursday, I felt like I had the flu, a temp of 100 and called my doctor and she said stop the med for a few days and see if its actually the flu or not. The next day I was fine, no temp. It only last 24 hours, but I felt like it was the flu. I read that mephron can cause a serious side affect like flu like symptoms. Now I don't know if I should restart it or not. I am awaiting a response from llmd. I am only on the Zithromax right now.

Hopefully someone will post about their mephron experience.

In the meantime, please utilize the 'search' function button located on top of this page. Underneath the 'Create a Poll'.

Click on search button.
When it asks what search words ? Type in babesia or mephron.
When it says what forum ? Type in medical.
Then click on search.
.
You will have access to information of this topic posted by lymenet members. You will have first-hand knowledge of what others before you, have experienced.

You should also search detox methods, anxiety, self-help, success stories, ect.

When I am bedridden (currently in relapse) and am unable to work, I research as much as I'm able. I have learnt so much and this has helped tremendously.

Lymenet saved my life and many, many others.
So happy you found this community.
It is the most effective way to deal with Lyme questions..

Thanks Bonnie, so sorry you are in relapse. How long have you had lyme? Do you have coinfections as well? I hope you feel better soon.

lindadanis... you could try calming yourself down with tryptophan, ht-p or SAM-E?

Babesia is a real killer... I hope you respond to the meds. If not, you may want to check out Buhner's Babesia protocol...

The crazy herxes are neurotoxins, pure poison.

You can take things to calm down the excitement, but that is like taking morphine to calm down the cancer pain: it will not cure the cause of the problem.

The only way out is to take binders in rotation, in reasonable amounts, and put the toxins out of your body, or they re-circulate back: the GI tract reabsorb them all again, they re-channel to the nerves and brain, and you get again and again the symptoms...

... until they lodge in fat stores (nerves, gut, sinovial liquids of joints, your spine, or in fat, etc).

And cause illness there again, in the future.

I find it crazy LLMDs do not know about herxes.

How the heck can they give you guys killing stuff without supporting the liver, kidneys, lymph, gut, binding neuro toxins to pull them out of your body.

You have to do your own homework, I suppose? Do a search on 'binders' here, you'll find many suggestions.

I would not have survived babesia herxes without constant intake of binders. No way.

Neurotoxins are worse than disease, and believe me: babesia uses toxins to keep your immune system low gear, so that it can doom your body.

In my feeling, neurotoxins = herxes is the MAIN GUN of babesia against the immune system. The more it poisons you, the more you lose, it wins.

So clean the stuff out. That is what I would do.

I saw most of the documentary chapters about The Truth about Vaccines.

Well, when people say they got sick with the flu after the flu shot, is not only the flu causing illness: it's the toxic compounds of vaccines making you ill.

People do not catch exactly the flu only, but they get ill from the flu shot extremely toxic compounds, with cytokine storms.

fevers, headaches, feeling achy, awful, just after the flu shot.

Doesn't that sound like herxes?!

There are NO GOOD HERXES as some people pretend.

If you read a bit what are cytokine storms, you'll understand that these are very harmful processes to the body, to cells, organs. Specially long term.

Short term, if the cytokine storms are actually fighting pathogens, they are somehow useful.

But the problem is that cytokine storms are also caused by toxins, and that serves no positive purpose to the body. Like when you eat an allergic food and react against it, as though your immune system wanted to kill the food.

It doesn't serve your body, if you see what I mean.

Well, herxes do not serve your body either: they just destroy tissues, creates anxiety because it is a sort of 'red alarm'.

Pull the toxins off, in any way you can, and save your cells from damage. Lymph drainage, binders, colon cleanse, liver supplements, skin brush, baths, whatever you do, your cells and whole body will thank you.
