I feel like something is sticking me in the calf, like a little piece of wood. I thought is was something on the bed I was sitting on but it keeps doing it even when walking. Is this Bart?

Unsure but it could be neurological. I used to get weird, phantom sensations such as feeling water (liquid) spilled on my feet or down my leg when it hadn’t. It was from my brain/neurology.

When I had this sensation several years ago, it turned out that I was getting a blood clot in my calf. Posted by 6Hypnone (Member # 47629) on :
Feels like a nerve. But how would one know if it's a clot?

Symptoms of a blood clot in the leg (also known as DVT, or deep vein thrombosis) include redness, pain, swelling, and warm to the touch.
These symptoms of a blood clot may feel similar to a pulled muscle but may differ in that the leg (or arm) may be swollen, slightly discolored, and warm.
In my case, I felt a small jabbing pain for several days, when I was walking or doing steps. Then I got the rest of the symptoms and realized what the problem was.
If you do get these symptoms, be sure to consult your doctor. Clots can break off from a DVT and travel to the lung, causing a pulmonary embolism (PE), which can be fatal.
