Getting into the brain: liposome-based strategies for effective drug delivery across the blood–brain barrier
The BBB is the most important obstacle to effective brain drug delivery.
There has been great interest in this area, especially in the development of targeted liposomes to cross the BBB and to deliver therapeutic molecules only to the disease site within the brain.
From the reported articles, we could see that liposomes can get into the brain via different mechanisms.
Examples of these mechanisms are:
1) transport of liposomes via RMT, followed by their internalization by neurons or glial cells and release of therapeutic molecules within those cells;
2) adsorption of cationic liposomes in the endothelial cells, which enhanced the concentration of therapeutic molecules within the brain cells;
3) antibody- or peptide-conjugated liposomes used to transport and target encapsulated drugs into the brain via transcytotic pathways;
4) inhibition of efflux transporters, such as PgP, by coating liposomes with transporter-inhibitory substances; and
5) disruption of the BBB.
In fact, liposomes have the potential to revolutionize drug development for therapy and/or diagnosis of neurological diseases.
By their unique physicochemical properties, liposomes have shown great ability to compartmentalize and solubilize hydrophilic and hydrophobic drugs.
Furthermore, liposomes are biocompatible and biodegradable systems, which make them suitable for neuromedicine.
No wonder I feel that rush of energy in my brain, my eyes seem to see clear, brain fog is past thing, then a sort of nerve pain detox, joint detox on and on again after liposomal Vit C (I take just 2 teaspoons at a time). Even bone.
If you've seen what one drop of Lipo Vit C did to my toe nail...: they got black, more than decade-old-fungi was carbonized in less than one week!
I will try to look about liposomes and bone, see if I find something...
I'm pretty sure you can send your best supplements (if they are water soluble), your herbal tinctures or extracts, whatever that is water soluble (possibly even oil soluble) into your brain for treatment!
Binders, detox substances. They will target the brain AND the whole of the central nervous system!!!
And plus, you need MUCH LESS in amount, as liposomes are said to HIGHLY increase the effect.

What would go into making a liposomal solution at home, Brussels? I’ve done a quick Google search on liposomal solutions (not recently), and I was lead to a number of different options, but I wasn’t sure about the process beyond that.
I’ve tried one of BioPure’s rizol oils. The process is different, but how do you think they’d compare?
If you have the time, thanks.

Hi Antonio, I use a recipe from a formula that has been patented.... The highest possible concentration of ascorbic acid in water + alcohol at about 30 degrees celsius (to the point of saturation).
No formula can be stronger.
What they can do better are the liposomes (I use sunflower lecithin).
I was not patient enough to work for 24 hours, so I use about half the patent suggestion, which is already a lot more than most commercial formulas.
They explain well the process and the patent formula.
I'm pretty sure that those who are fanatic with antibiotics IV could get close (or better) results with liposomal antibiotics.
I would not dare do that, as I'm afraid of drug damage, as liposomal vit C is said to be much stronger than IV Vit C!!!
"Some experts in the field of vitamin C such as Dr Thomas Levy, are saying that 6 grams of liposomal vitamin C is equivalent to 50 grams of intravenous vitamin C.
Intravenous vitamin C elevates blood levels of vitamin C significantly higher, however, without the liposomal membrane this water soluble vitamin C is unable to efficiently penetrate the cell membrane."
It's quite easy to do, if you do the formula with less lecithin as suggested in the patent. I do it once a month, it takes me about an hour or even less.
Rizol oils (urgh...) are strong too, made with ozone, but I only took that in small amounts (as the taste is awful).
They are mostly antimicrobials only, to my understanding...
vit C is not antimicrobial only, but a MUCH more broad spectrum substance.
quite inexpensive to produce home.
The difficulty I'm having is with detox: it mobilizes toxins, heavy metals, and I'm having to take more binders than usual, having sometimes some problems to fall asleep, stuff like that.
I'm taking only 2 grams a day again now.
The ultrasound device costs a ridiculous price (30 dollars or so).
I bought a bigger one for about 120 dollars.
But according to the website I mentioned above (qualityliposomalc) you don't EVEN need to buy a device, as a home mixer could do the job too....
