So I have been treating for quite a while for Lyme and Babesia without very good results.

I recently tested positive again for Lyme, Bartonella, and found out I test positive for Mycoplasma and Q fever.

Has anyone here tested positive for Q fever? It sounds dangerous if left unattended. If so how did you treat it?

I thought I read years ago that Q fever was associated with raw milk.

Q fever is in the Rickettsia family. Just today after 19 yrs of suspecting a rickettsia infection I finally got my answer.

Rickettsia, you are going down.

I believe you will find more information searching under this family name.

I hope it helps me too, but sounds like doxy is the best thing for it and I have been on it already. Sounds like it can take years to get on top of... (sobs loudly)

lymetoo, I have no idea how I picked this up. I don't drink raw milk on a regular basis and I only grew up with common domestic animals... cat, dog, rabbits... ??? it sounds very rare?

I guess I either got it from these animals or a tick bite that was loaded to kingdom come...

foxy, I kicked abx out of my life many years ago. I will be using my rife machine to kick Rickettsia out.

In my case, I'm finally experiencing a bio-film attack on these pathogens. And some layers have been really tough.

I wish you luck in eliminating Q.

Perhaps I am wrong about the connection with the milk. I just filed that tidbit in my tiny brain several years ago.

yes, your one noodle has kept in contact with that other noodle... with no spirochetes bouncing in between. How is that for a visual? [Smile]
