is this a common trait found in bartonella/babesia co infections that men can experience because my sex drive has been literally compromised and fallen apart totally along with the severe brain fog and lack of energy i face daily as i no longer can acheive an erection nor an orgasm like i had just a month ago without any trouble

so im wondering is this lyme robbing important nutrients in the system cuz my vitamin b12 results from my cbc i had done was on the low end of the range at 300 when i got them done at labcorp, do i need a b12 injection to fix this maybe? thanks for any help

(breaking up the paragraph for easier reading for many here)

My opinion is that it's Lyme that affects sexuality, through hormone dysregulation, lack of nutrition, etc. You could do a Search here and see what archived threads have suggested doing. I think we need to treat the infection in order to restore physical functioning, including brain fog and energy - just all of it.

I'm female, but I can tell you first hand that B12 MIGHT be part of your sexuality issue.

Lyme has had a HUGE impact on me in that department and I also was low in B12. I was completely numb and didn't have even the smallest urge to want to do anything.

I started taking a B12 supplement daily and have been for the last 8 months. It took time, but I feel like a different person. It hasn't made it back to what I would consider "normal" for my age, but it has made an improvement for me.

I am just glad to be moving in the right direction. I am still learning about all the ways Lyme has affected my life.

Try and see if you can bring up your B12. Maybe it will help you.
