my number for this test came out at 47 which I was told was in "normal" range. However when I read up on it, it clearly states that it should be 200 or over. Can someone please clarify for me what this means? Also bands 31 and 51 positive when the igenex test was done two weeks ago under igm. What does that mean. She told me I didn't have lyme. So confused.

I think you may want to get a second opinion from another doc who knows Lyme

That doctor is pretty worthless, Linda.

47 is low. Why did your test say you were in normal range?!

Band 31 is a positive. Some feel that even one Lyme-positive band is enough. Some confirm the 31 band with another test.

Did you mean band 41? That's the flagellin of any spirochetal bacteria, including Lyme bacteria.

If you're feeling ill, Lyme doctors treat clinically, based on history and symptoms, as many may not get a positive test.

You need to see a real LLMD!

Although 47 is still considered "normal" a LLMD will consider it very significant if the value is under 60.
