i just started having a stiff neck develop outta nowhere and it brings on burning pain but otc pain relievers never respond and theres some crackling noise you can also hear as you try turning each way and my tinnitus is really loud and recently has spread to my other left ear.

Ive been tested positive for band igG 41 on quest western blot but mostly my symptoms are neurological and psychological since ive found out that Im bipolar 2 probably from the brain inflammation that ive experienced.

This on and off muscle aches and especially the lyme rage is scarying myself and others around me, please help with any input

(breaking up the post for easier reading for many here)

I'm sorry you're going through that

I recommend going to a chiropractor. Also, ask your doctor if they recommend magnesium malate. It relaxes muscles

Definitely see a therapist who is knowledgeable about Bipolar Disorder. Bach Flower Remedies are really helpful for emotional healing.

It might be the Lyme acting up. Stiff neck was my first symptom and it did come back from time to time.

I wasn't helped by going to a chiropractor so much for my neck, but treating the Lyme helped a lot. Chiropractors are great though, depending on what's causing the problem. I had a problem with pain in my lower back and going to a chiropractor made it clear up completely.

Could it possibly be that Lyme is causing bipolar-type symptoms? (just a thought). I'm pretty sure I would have been diagnosed with bipolar in the past if any doctors had seen how bad my Lyme rage was.

i get crawling sensation like bugs are moving under my scalp every night plus the tinnitus is so loud that it spread to my left ear, this also triggers my mania episodes but my workout training sessions help but not much for fixing moods long term. I get very nervous using mind alterating meds to correct imbalances if started by a toxic infection

You can try OTC 4% lidocaine patches.
They also make a cream for hard to reach places or constant moving body parts that patches have a hard time staying in place. They run around 10.00 for 5 of them.

If you can get your doctor to write a script, they are 5% lidocaine and will be covered by insurance.

Also a heating pad might become your best friend till your neck calms down.

No lifting anything for awhile could be of value.

Tinnitus was so aggravating for me but went away out of the blue during treatment. Sweet relief. But now it's back. I now recognize it flares when my body is riddled with imflamation. Always chasing symptoms. Hope it subsides soon.

Band 41 is the flagellin in spirochetes - what makes them move.

For visual snow, you could try drinking mangosteen juice to see if it stops eye symptoms. It does for me. I get it at the health food store. We're all different, though, and need to see what works for each of us.

The only thing that ever stopped my tinnitus was a PEMF machine. It will quiet down the nerves.

Got to tell you, I suffer with neck pain too. Haven't really licked it - I go to the chiropractor all the time. I know magnesium can relax muscles.

Also, I'm wondering if the Lyme settled in our necks because we have tight necks, ie, less oxygen there and that's what the spirochetes like.

With that theory, I am self-massaging my tight neck muscles to see if I can get anywhere with it. So far, I've been able to turn my head a lot more, so continuing to do this. I do this work lying down on my back - squashing any and all tight muscles with both hands. It's an experiment, but hey, let's discuss and try stuff...

One more simple idea for you, re the inflammation - taking capsules of turmeric helps take down inflammational pain in muscles and joints for me. Possibly it could help with inflammation anywhere, like in the brain? Don't know, but it's a simple try.

The secret is to find out what relieves our symptoms. Hopefully you're working with an LLMD?
