I woke up with it. It's like what your tongue would feel like after drinking really hot tea/coffee/whatnot.

It's the tip. So, as is usual with a burned tongue, it's irritated and numbish at the same time. Also not as much taste. Just like a burned tongue.

What could be the cause?
I do have pain in my teeth too

You might consider if foods or teas recently consumed might be high in OXALATES.

For instance, very high are spinach, almonds, other nuts (and nut butters, nut "milks" or nut "flours" too).

Lacinato kale low but other kales can be high.

If your toothpaste has sodium laurel (forget last work) . . .
I find Redmond Lemon toothpaste to be the only one I can tolerate.

"Burning mouth" has many variables, though. Hormones, . . .

I had burning tongue from Bart.
Also, sometimes my tongue feels too big to fit in my mouth.

Last night teeth and gum pain bad, out of the blue. Ending up sleeping with Sensodyne toothpaste slathered on teeth.
It works.

Thank you. Hmmm...I dont' think I had high ox foods...I do sleep w/mouth open part of the time but that's not new.

I did notice my period came 4 days earlier than normal and ...it's never been that early at any point in my life. It ended around the 3rd. The tongue thing I think was the 5th.

How do you know it's from bart tho?
I have teeth pain. I use the sensodyne too, on my teeth. Still have pain. Use clove and advil, still have pain. I also use a mixed homeopathic called Relief tone, hypericum and just put on belladonna. Still have f* pain.

That happened to me when I was low on carnitine. Try some carnitine, it gets better overnight.

I had that once, and then it went away. Could be the bugs in that nerve area acting up.

Even if you cannot see anything there?

I would guess EBV, shingles or any herpes family viruses.

Many causes rashes, burning with or without rashes, nerve pain (without rashes)...

(burning mouth caused by H simplex)

Post herpetic neuralgia

( associated with intake of antibiotics).

I know I have herpes simplex 2, though not sure how. My doc thinks it's from cold sores as a kid.
I know I had candida and most likely still have it. Also have marcons in my Nose.

Are you treating these herpes infections?
They are very much like lyme: easy to catch, difficult to prove they are active.

There is even a term called post-viral disease for people who remain ill after blood shows it became a past infection (IgG). Very very similar to lyme.

The blood does not show because infection is in tissue (the blood will only show in certain phases of infection, a bit like lyme that can show some activity if you take antimicrobials, but without it shows nothing or little).

Blood exams, in any way, are not conclusive. I'm reading forums for EBV and you just change the name to Borrelia or lyme, all posts look EXACTLY like a lyme board.

I would try a natural anti viral treatment. I didn't know Buhner wrote a book in 2013 on viruses. I think I'll order it.

I don't know. The focus now is on mold. Only herbals I'm. On is jap knotweed, houttuynia, Pinella, igg 2000.
Rest are supportive and binder.

Thats quite interesting. So just bc it shows its not active, doesn't mean it isn't.
