I had a phone session with a medical intuitive yesterday. I didn't just pick this guy from the yellow pages of the phone book; my holistic doctor recommended him as someone who had helped a number of her patients, as well as herself.

The intuitive said that when I was a little kid I experienced emotional trauma that made me want to die. As a child, I didn't know how to commit suicide, but my body responded to those emotions by giving me digestive problems that would cause me to starve.

He said the fecal transplant I did recently had been succesful in eliminating all infections from my body, and that I no longer had allergy problems either, but what I did have was a sensitive stomach and gut that couldn't digest food, and that were being made worse by the abundance of supplements I was taking to address allergy and infection problems that didn't exist.

His solution was for me to drop the supplements and do emotional work to address the lingering trauma that was weakening my digestion.

I have conflicting feelings about this advice. Eighty percent of what he said was believable, the other twenty percent not so much.

There's no question that for 15 years I had active Lyme on board. The herxes after rifing, the intensity of intermittent Lyme headaches, the multiple providers who told me I had Lyme & coinfections, etc., clearly indicated I had Lyme.

It's also clear that the supplements I'm taking cause problems sometimes. Even so, the thought of giving them up and being defenseless if Lyme and coinfections return, is terrifying. If that happened, I couldn't just return to therapeutic doses of the supps overnight; it would take many months to slowly and painstakingly build up to effective doses, months of overwhelming pain.

I'm probably going to compromise and just continue treating the infections that show up on my doctor's tests, and let some of the supplements go, and see what happens.

I've worked with other energy medicine people in the past, and they say the same thing as this guy. I don't know whether that's because it's true or not. Emotional trauma is their specialty, and I've never seen a specialist who didn't tell me that my problems couldn't be 100% diagnosed and treated by them.

I could probably flip a coin or throw darts at a dartboard and come up with as good a course of action as trying to weigh the relative "facts."

GVS, thanks for your story with the med intuitive.

I guess everyone fighting disease for so long will have traumas to treat, unfortunately.

Have you tried celery juice? It has helped me tons in many areas, specially in digestion... Many people here in Switzerland is doing that, that is why the increase in price, and lack of celery all over. Today, I could find it nowhere....

My mom got stomach cancer, and I'm trying to convince her to take it... Let's see.

What are the issues you want to treat?

I went to an NAET specialist once. he told me food allergies are from eating foods and associating them with trauma.

Like- you are eating a banana while your husband tells you he wants a divorce- so you become allergic to bananas

not saying I agree or disagree. just found it interesting

This is interesting, thanks for posting. I think this may be part of the underlying susceptibility to illness, and am wondering if it would help me.

If you decide to pursue it, you might look into The Gupta Amygdala Programme, and/or the ANS Rewire program, as both protocols treat this issue.

They do not involve any drugs, but you must commit about 2 hrs. per day of working on them, at minimum.

P.S. FWIW, I had a phone reading with a semi-famous psychic quite awhile back, who knew only my name and phone number.

He said: "you have both chronic fatigue syndrome and fibromyalgia", not Lyme.

He also said it is my chosen life's work this time around to overcome illness by spirit alone. I'm not doin' so good...

Klutzo, nice to know you are still around!

I guess the intuitive could be right: that's my point!

Many people here only think lyme, lyme, lyme, while it could be other stuff than lyme!!

CFS is more linked to viral infections, right?

Fibro could be too, as viral infections also attach to the nerves (all herpes viruses seem to do that).

You also herx when they die, they also cause brain fog, tinnitus, digestive problems, they can live anywhere in your body, they act as SUPER immuno suppressive, etc...

But it may take years, decades, till people realize they gotta search further. Lyme is not the end journey for many!!

I was lucky that treating lyme ended most of my symptoms. But looking back, as I DID not use drugs, most of the herbs and treatments I did also work against viruses - frozen garlic, cats claw, eleuthero... - or the immune system in general - ginger, jap knotweed, etc

In fact, I don't actually know healing lyme symptoms for me meant only healing bacterial infection. I guess not.

Plus many of us end up with allergies, and awful diseases related to chemicals (extreme sensitivities). Which means, that after lyme is gone, there is still mess in the immune system!

Not good to know you are not well, yet, after all these years... I'll send you a PM...

I called the K******t Institute and accidentally got a professor. While she was very arrogant she said the issues I was describing started in the birth canal and all trauma from that point on would need to be addressed. She said “everyone has Lyme, it’s spread by kissing and mosquitoes”. She informed me she had given me $2000 worth of free advice to which I replied I feel richer already. My whole point in the call was to vet any institute before recommending them to a family member. She said they’d never come since I was calling for them and while she was inadvertently right, it was for the wrong reasons. They will never come because her her information is not in their wheelhouse. That’s why I called, to see if they were a match. Personally I believe she had some points. There is freedom in exposing monsters. They hide in the dark. Go your own way, your instincts will guide you!

my gut tells mye I don't have Lyme all the time.

BUT... I DO think (I know- becasue I had EM rash) I had lyme and it messed everything up! I also believe 'everyone' has lyme and it is activated whenever in their lives. - or never if they are lucky.

times like this I wish so bad I had pursued a degree and was a scientific researcher and Dr.

It just is hugely disheartening when every dr you see tells you something different, but they all pretty much throw their arms up at your sx and case.

the "from the womb" theory is interesting to say the least. Not sure I agree or disagree on that one, but I DO get my own personal distinct feeling that I have been 'sick' my entire life.

I also am currently linking my Empath giftedness to how we react and perceive illness, infection, etc... People (like me [Smile] ) who are very sensative to their surroundings and other people's energy/feelings/ etc, I think, have a harder time feeling well and good. Jut my theory at the moment.
