The Cooperative Extension of Maine Tick Lab offers tick-testing services for $ 15.00.

DNA tests for the presence of the organisms that cause Lyme disease (Borrelia burgdorferi), Anaplasmosis (Anaplasma phogocytophilum) and Babesiosis (Babesia microti).

They also offer free tick identification.
