Hi folks. A friend is having periods at the age of 66.
She is on progesterone because she has severe sweats and chills.
I know babesia causes this because I had it but does babesia cause sweats and chills because it affects the hormones I wonder?
Cause when she takes hormones she feels better without the chills and sweats

The sweats and chills are just part of the babesia.
Lyme can affect the hormones .. so I don't really know about babesia.

I also have constant night and day sweats. It is my most debilitating symptom. I believe it's my Babesia back. I remember when I started Mepron and Malarone, my sweats decreased almost immediately.
As I'm not seeing my LLMD due to lack of funds, I aggressively pursued mainstream insurance covered MD's. Endocrinologist, OBGYN, Primary, Urinologist., as night and day sweats can be caused by other diseases or infections. I got NO answers, which I knew would be the case. Even abnormal labs were dismissed, I was offered no remedies or explanations of what, where or why of my symptoms. Useless and a waste of time.
My sufferering is so un-necessary. Im working on getting back to my LLMD ASAP.
