There are a couple of studies that show that if people get the flu vaccine they have more of a chance of getting OTHER viruses, including Corona virus.
Why then did they give the elderly an extra heavy duty dose the past couple years?

A lot of evil things have happened to the elderly in the past few years-- so many that it can't be considered coincidence: --COVID patients being put into nursing homes on purpose- infecting and killing thousands of our beloved grannies and grandpas --A double dose of flu vaccine being pushed on our elderly intensely over the past two years-- when the flu vaccine is now known to make a person more vulnerable to coronaviruses --Hospitals getting reimbursed $13,000 per COVID patient, and $37,000 per person put on a ventilator-- ripping off the taxpayer and killing the people put on the ventilators when they could have survived with simple oxygen. --Hospitals in NYC saying they will not resuscitate our parents and grandparents. --Hospitals in Italy and Spain saying that if a person is over 60, a younger person will receive the ventilator.
Hmmm... Sounds like someone in control dislikes the elderly.

They didn't know about the relationship between the flu vaccine and COVID at that time.
But that is one more reason to say no to the vaccine.

I heard there were a lot of flu shots given in the fall of 2019 in N Italy. If so, that could help explain why N Italy was so hard hit with covid-19.

I had the flu shot this year for the first time in a decade and being 65, I was given the more potent one. I have been tested for Covid once and it was negative. I don't know whether I regret getting the flu shot or not, but I sure am grateful that I have been free of Covid and the flu so far this year.
My 94 year old mother-in-law contracted Covid in the nursing home where she resides for long term care (she has multiple health problems and we are unable to care for her). She managed to survive Covid and is doing better now, but her quality of life is poor. We are only able to visit her on Face Time and hope to be able to have an outdoor visit with her in a few weeks when allowed.
At her nursing home, there are over 60 patients who have survived Covid, but 42 have died. They still have 16 active cases. It is a monster of an illness and I think the nursing homes are totally overwhelmed.
We get updates daily from her nursing home and they are doing everything in their power to protect their staff and residents. It is a nightmare that nobody was ready for. I sure would not want to be running a nursing home right now. Their workers are true heroes in my eyes for risking their lives to care for our loved ones.
I remember when we had to place my Dad in a nursing home 20 years ago due to his dementia becoming out of control. I can't imagine the horror of having placed a loved one in long term care right before Covid struck. My heart goes out to all of those in that awful situation.
