I've had several tick-borne infections over the years and mostly took doxycycline--usually for 1 or 2 months. This time I'm taking amoxicillin. My doctor prescribed 15 days worth. Is this going to be enough?
I have unmistakable symptoms and am certain I've been infected. I sent the tick away to be tested, and if they tell me it's negative I'll have to assume there was another tick. Wouldn't surprise me.
