well, I had been doing fairly well, but in the past year have started to step backwards...all since August last year I have ended up with:

1. POTS diagnosis
2. c diff (not on antibiotics and haven't been for ages!)
3. HSV-1
4. fibroids

My fibroid surgery is coming up soon, so I've backed way off my herbs and will stop them 14 days before surgery. Given I ended up with c diff and HSV-1 in the last year, WHILE on large doses of herbs that are in some part meant to improve immunity...worries me.

If anyone has ideas for things I can do to improve my ability to fight off infection, please let me know.

Just looking for a little bit of hope and ideas since it seems like kicking Lyme and co (for the most part) has now led to a whole host of other issues.

Have you tried Transfer Factor?

Many with Lyme end up with POTS and still more end up with MCAD . . Have you checked that out?

I have high levels of CMV, but I don't do anything about it.

Do you take Florastor? That is the best thing for c.diff that I know about.

Thanks Lymetoo. I have heard of Transfer Factor. Is one in particular better? I think I have some at home I can try for sure.

Check out saccharomyces Boulardii (Sacky boo). I've been using it for years to prevent C. Diff. Two different LLMDs have prescribed it for me.

( Florastor is s.boulardii )

paleogal .. I don't remember which one I had. You could also try colostrum.

Colostrum is derived from milk, though, which I don’t consume. Have most folks been able to tolerate colostrum even if they can’t do cow’s milk?
