Though doing some reading it's used for metals too. I've not done anything for metals yet as Dr was I thought, going in an order. Is this a gentle detox binder? I'm not prepared for any heavy herxing from detoxing metals. Another of my docs also thinks gentler ways of detoxing metals are best for me.

My Naturopath recommended Nature's Sunshine Mega Chel several months ago. I knew since finally getting all my mercury removed that the time had come.
Do a search on this and see the ingredients, you will be amazed. I did 2 bottles according to the directions for 2 mths and I was shocked.
The crude that my body removed in those 2 mths was unbelievable. I lost 10 lbs.
I've never thought my body was a good detoxer in all these years. Always felt that my vit/minerals/supps and even meds hung out in my blood(testing proved it) and wasn't able to get to the cell level.
I'm taking a few months break and using chlorella daily now. But it's going to probably take some more rounds Mega Chel for more removal of heavy metals.
