I asked on another site about asking politely at my job about potential mold exposure in my department and having the area tested /looked at? Im hearing alot of stories on mold exposure lately and this really stuck to me.
I work at a hospital in an old section of the building. Our carpets never have been cleaned, a water fountain leaked 6 months ago. Lots of ppl with allergies and one that I sure know has Lyme.
I don't want to sound like a hypercondriac or that I'm starting trouble. Everyone knows I have lyme have been absolutely awesome and supportive.
Someone on another Lyme support site suggested I leave my job since it's early in my career and relocate. I know she means well but wtf?
This job has been a legit blessing to me, getting this job wasn't by accident. This job is the only thing that gets me going and hope. The pay and the people are outstanding, you don't see that anywhere anymore. It took me months to find a job. I'm devastated and heartbroken that this could be a possible scenario and my worst nightmare.
I don't think people understand its not that simple to get up and leave and start over yet AGAIN. I'd get a pay cut ( which I can't afford to do ) the hospital does well, with competitive pay/benefits because its demographics.I probably wouldn't find people like my coworkers. There are so many opportunities here and room to grow.
What things could I do or at least suggest as in testing in our department from?
Or have my LLMD run blood work?

I wouldn't leave your job. Find out more from your LLMD. Even if there is mold-you don't know if that is affecting you. I have all my co-workers say they have symptoms in our office from mold. I never have a difference in and out of work. See if you notice a difference from home and work.

I started this job 7 months ago. Before working here I was still very sick but pushed myself to get back into the work force.
Hypothetically if I did leave and relocate whose to say my new job wouldn't have mold exposure too? That stuff is everywhere in all atmospheres.
It's just something on my mind that I'm paranoid about, maybe it's my anxiety messing with me?
But I think of these things. I just want a normal life.

Mountainsky it sounds to me, instead of you having Lyme, the Lyme now seems to have you, it is very easy to over analyze everything, you know you have Lyme and i know its tough but try and stay the course dealing with that hope you feel better soon

All this damage treatment did I believe is permanent now. No amount of detox will help, I'm getting worse my body is shutting down.
The Methylene Blue did something were thinking.

Do you have short term disability? If so can you go on it?
