I've been suffering with this since 2016, it's random and sporadic. Stabbing is worst, but also have sensitivity, shocks, electrical... Almost any possible nerve sensation you can think of. Usually in certain toe, but sometimes other toes or fingers.
I've tried a crapload of things...
LDN
Curcumin
Mag
Mag spray
Several topical essential oils
Cbd (gummy and internal oil)
Thc/cbd (gummy and internal oil)
Thc/cbd transdermal lotion
Rso
PEA supp
Alpha lipoic acid
THC-a internal oil
Pinella
Dr dispenza meditation

Things I'm thinking about:
Krtamine infusions
Gabapentin
Kratom

I need relief as this has taken over and ruined my life. My guess is it's due to babs or bart. Yrs I am treating slowly and detoxing. Most of my mold issues are ok now I think. Yes I'm gluten free. For 6 years now. I have adrenal and thyroid issues and leaky gut.

Any input would be helpful!!

There is lyrica and lamictal - that is what my llmd has me on.

For some reason gabepentin wires me. I wish I could take it as it is cheap.

My new favorite drug though is Methylene blue. I dont think I have ever been on anything that has helped me as much as this.

I have been trying to solve cognitive issues for years. 5 months ago he took me off of everything except mino. Added artemsia and methlyene blue. My brain seems to be coming back.

Thank you. I have an rx for gabapentin scared. Heard some bad stories. I was on it years ago for bone pain, seemed to help for a while but I began having odd nerve symptoms. I dunno if was due to the drug or was the beginning of my lyme/cos symptoms. So went off.
I was on Lyrica for like a week and stopped.
That drug really scared me. I'd prefer to not be on drugs. Just joined a Kratom group.
I've seem meth blue mentioned a few times. I'm not really famiilear with it.

Gaba is not that dangerous in low dosages. I've taken high and I've taken low.

The last time I tried it, it was a no-go. No great loss for me.

Maybe another area to explore to find answers.

Intercranial Hypertension / Idiopathic Intercranial Hypertension

Common but under appreciated symptoms of Intercranial Idiopathic Hypertension are neck pain, back pain and radicular pain radiating to the arms and legs.

https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC6292399/

Pinched sensory nerve pain may be caused by Intercranial Hypertension which causes degeneration of the sensory nerve roots and could be contributing to the small nerve fibers losses. Found in chronic diseases such as fibromyalgia, ME and chronic fatigue syndrome.Chronic mildly increased cerebral spiral fluid pressure are enough to case symptoms.

Hmmm... Trading that 2nd one, in my eye exams none of this was found. All that was hound is severe astigmatism and extra conjunctiva. I dint seem to have the other symptoms. I do have headaches sometimes.

Yah low doses seem ok. The thing I worry about is if coming off, all symptoms come back more than full force... A rebound.

The thing that helped my nerve pain was Babesia treatment and parasite treatment. Also, get sleep.

The thing that helped me was medical cannabis. Not that I liked taking drugs but these gummies that I take now really do their job.
I get the best cbd gummies from the local store, and they help me sleep better and be less nervous. I would not dare to take them myself, but my doctor suggested I buy them. They make me feel better because they feel more relaxed and confident while talking to other people. It is something that I failed to learn before I am trying to learn now.
So, if you are looking for a more natural medication for the nerves, you can try this.

andrzejrule—Welcome to Lymenet.

Glad you have found something that helps.

Do the gummies give you a “high” feeling. I have never had cannabis except on accident when I invested some laced brownies in college. I didn’t like the weird feeling but then ago that was ages ago and I might like it now. [Big Grin]

Hi. I know this thread is quite old, but I'd like to share my newbie's 2 cents to bring it back to life. I hope you were able to find some relief for your nerve pain since you posted this. If you're still struggling with it, have you considered trying CBD oil? It's known to be effective for managing nerve pain. Also, if you haven't already, it might be worth seeing a specialist to explore more specific treatment options. Personally, my doctor advised me about the best CBD oil he knew to help me get rid of my anxiety disorder. Long story short, it's worked. So, don't give up hope, and keep us updated on how you're doing. Waiting for your reply!
