Has anyone got the novavax vaccine? I would like to get it but I am concerned about what my reaction to it will be.

adien424--what type of reaction are you concerned about?

Something to think about and research is if the Novavax vaccine protects against the variants of Omicron.

While the mRNA vaccines don't prevent someone from getting Omicron it does seem that those who have been vaccinated fare better than those who are unvaccinated.

It is definitely a tough decision.

It is also very controversial as you may find out.

I did have the mRNA vaccine and one booster and the only effects I had were a sore arm and a headache for day.

I have not had covid. But I have been super careful and continue to wear a mask in public places.

I tend to be overly sensitive to EVERYTHING. I know other Lyme people have this issue too. I was just wondering if anyone had a bad reaction to the covid vaccine novavax. I think they are coming out with the Omnicom vaccine this fall. So maybe just wait for that one. I would still be interested to hear from someone who got the novavax vaccine

I hope someone comes along who can help you.

I rarely get vaccines so it took a lot for me to get the Covid vaccine but I am glad I did.

Best wishes.

Consider it very carefully.

I prefer none myself.

This is a tough decision. The novavax is not a new kind of vaccine. It's similar to the vaccines that have been around for years. They used moths and tree bark to make it. It's just got approval in the united states but no one knows about it. I think that's weird. Google novavax.com It's kind of interesting. I don't want to get it and get worse from the vaccine than I am now though.

I think it's important to look up the ingredients in any vaccine before considering getting it. I don't like what I see, and I'm also a highly allergic individual, so I don't do vaxxing.

I have stayed very well this entire time by taking:

1) up to 10 gms of Vit C. I take 2 gms in the am if staying home, and add 1 gm every hour if I go out since it's water soluble and needs replenishing. Vit C is an excellent source of extra electrons which neutralize free radicals created by diseases.

2) 5000IU Vit D - for me, a dropperful and a half. We're supposed to get our Vit D levels up to at least 50 or 60 and this can be tested for in a blood test. Vit D provides comprehensive protection.

3) I take Host Defense mushroom capsules - 17 dried mushrooms in a capsule, take 2 in the am and pm 5x/week. Mushrooms support the WBC natural killer cell activity. We can also just eat a lot of mushroom variety.

My chiropractor has seen 200 patients/week this entire time and he has remained well! His protocol is a good multi vit/min, either NAC or glutathione, and extra zinc with quercetin.
