Hi Maddog. There's quite a few of us that have developed allergies after Lyme treatment.
TuTu has posted great stuff on a condition called MCAS which stands for mast cell activation syndrome.
TuTu pointed out that I might have this in 2016 and I was diagnosed the same year by an allergist that treats this condition.
Symptoms are managed with antihistamines and mast cell stabilizers.
Great link Terv!

I watch health summits. Gut summit presenters are saying that leaky junctions in the intestines - ie "leaky gut" - can allow undigested food particles to get into the bloodstream which are then foreign substances and the body attacks them. They're saying people need to heal the leaky gut situation in order to be able to handle food again.
Check out the websites of these presenters: Donna Gates, Jill Carnahan, Josh Axe, Tom O'Bryan and Allison Sebacker. Also, Sayer Ji has a Green Med Info library probably with a lot of info on how to heal the gut.
And yes, we have Lyme, so are different in that way, but still, I like to learn about what might be helpful for us to try.

Just as an FYI, research shows that hyperbaric oxygen treatment is helpful with Crohn's. I have a mild hyperbaric oxygen chamber at home. It was life saving for me with Lyme.
There is a long thread about mHBO here in Medical.
