I have been back and forth with Lyme disease. I had a postive WB, but not Elisa. I listened to the Texas Dr.s regarding my "non-exisitant" Lyme. So, it has been five years and now I am chronic. I do not want to mess with the ignorance down here. So, my Dad lives in the NH area. Does anyone know of a good LLMD?
If I am treated out of state, how often would I need to go? What are your experiences with out-of-state treatments?

Now, NH folks will see you need help since everyone does NOT read an entire post. We pick & chose depending on what the topic line says.

I think how often you see a LLMD depends soley on the doctor and your particular situation. They may feel that it's OK to see you less often if you're far away (When we were traveling 5 hours to see a LLMD we only went every 3 months). Some see patients every 8 weeks or so. It depends.
If you would like a list of LLMD's in NH, I can help you. Check your private messages. Nobody seems to have many (or any)positive things to say about the docs in Texas.

I believe each state has specific laws about writing prescriptions since the last time in the office. That is what my last lyme doc told me, and that differs from state to state.
