My dr. is Dr. B neurologist out of cooper hospital in camden,nj; he is sending
me to infectious disease for them to decide for sure if it is LD, and have any of YOU gone to him;
is HE LYME LITERATE?

Infectecious Disease is supposed to decide:

1. if i have lyme
2. if so ....has it gone so long undetected
that i need to have antibiotice via a drip.

my apt if for ID is sept 5

I have a MRI scheduled for my tailbone to cancel out any other possible
reasons for this horrible pain.

This month is 1 year since this pain has begun.(in tailbone)

the thing that gets me so upset is i was tested for lyme over 2 years ago (not by the same Dr. above)the Dr. said it was high however he felt it was a false positive reading, he then sent me for xrays and said i just had arthritis.

now as i am reading; that seems to be
a side effect of undetected lyme.
it is making me crazy.

if he had just searched instead of telling me it is normal effects of "getting old", (i am only 36) i would not have this tail bone that i experience today. At that point, it was just ache in wrists and numbness/tingeling in hands up to the elbow. and cracking knees and ankels, and lower back pain.

i could go on forever about this, but i just want to feel better.

Don't waste your time with the ID. You need an Lyme Literate MD. There are a number of good ones in NJ. Very few ID's are LL.
