Hello!

New here and trying to find help/answers and a LLMD for my husband who I suspect has Lyme disease 2+ years. If I can save him from any more years of pain, it will all be worth it. Thank you in advance for any advice and recommendations.

Good morning.

To my knowledge there are no true LLMD's in RI. There is a Lyme-friendly doc in North Kingstown called Dr. G. I have not seen him.

A lot of RIer's take the trip to Wilton, CT to see Dr. P. That's what I do. He is top-notch.

PM me with questions if needed.

Thanks for the info so far...

Husband has been sick for just over 2 years.

Symptoms:

1. sour/bitter taste on tongue

2. feeling like something is caught on the back of his tongue/throat (ie/ like a popcorn kernal)

3. abdominal pain like irritable bowel

4. shoulder pain with shooting "zingers" and numbness down his arm into his hand

5. neck pain beginning from base of neck up back of head

6. facial twinges...feeling like vibrations, tingling and electric shocks in teeth

7. TMJ pain

8. ringing in ears

9. Depression with thinking he's being a hypochondriac.

10. joint pain and popping

He just got a referral for blood work from dr. He's military so I'm trying to gather as much info as I can to be prepared for what tests he should have done and if we should out-source them to non military doctors.

Thanks!
