Sounds like I have a mild form of this disease from what I've been reading. I have no recollection of a tick bite and have never had a rash. But, I have had had problems with poor short-term memory, concentration, muscle twitches (and sharp pains in my side); facial numbness and arthritic symptoms in my right hand.
Is there a LD specialist in the Gaithersburg/Germantown area? What other information can I give you? Thanks,
