I have seen
one, the one who dx'd me (long story), but recommended 'over kill' treatment (very profitable for him, potentially deadly for me)

two, he thought he was KING, but of aids treatment- so stuck in the 80's era

three, screamed at me over fist one's treatment suggestions, he recommended 'under kill' 21 days of doxy

four, completely doesn't know what he is doing, suggested takuna (natural) and other natural supplements (evening primrose, xtra c and e) only made me sick(er)- probably the 'product brand'

I have consulted with one on east coast recommended by LLMD=very very expensive takes no insurance- what gives with that?

So, does anyone know of a decent or even half decent insurance accepting logical LLMD in central/east coast Florida?

Not much available in FL. You might try Missouri. I'll PM you.

Did you try DR.C in Tampa?

T hat's probably the one with the overkill.
Not many LLMD's take insurance.
It really is hard to know what to do.

I did see him. [cussing]

You know I have heard all the arguments why they don't take insurance, but I have also heard why insurance doesn't take them. Just something to think about.....................

for the record, he does, but he still tries to take advantage too. It is shameful how some of these MDs/NDs operate. Maybe one day I will change my mind, but not today......and probably not tommorrow.

hey wearychick,

i'm in central florida and go to a Dr in south carolina, (though I was dx in Fla).

...it's unfortunate that some of us have to travel so far, but until more docs are willing to treat lyme PROPERLY, this is the unfortunate reality.

I love my LLMD [Big Grin]
