A co-worker's 62yo mother was recently diagnosed with parkinson's and is going downhill fast.
until very recently she was still teaching high school math but now her cognition has declined so rapidly that she cannot keep up her household.
My co-worker will be moving back there for a few months to set things in order (finding a "home" for her, etc), but is looking for a recommendation for a good neurologist since her mom doesn't like the one she has.
She asked me, well, because of my disturbing cognitive deficits & neuro issues, she thought that I'd maybe have access to the name of a decent neuro.
Given that lyme is a usual suspect more often than we'd like, I figured I'd ask here. That way her mother can be assessed for possible neurolyme while they're at it.

I haven't personally heard of any Lyme-literate neurologists in the area, but that's just me - maybe others might know. I could ask on CaliforniaLyme. Would she be open to consulting with a Lyme-treating physician? - Robin
