I am currently searching for an LLMD in the Western Massachusetts area. While I have not had any testing for Lyme disease yet I am running out of options to explain why the heck I'm having all the symptoms/difficulties that I've been having lately. Since last July, I have been bitten three times by deer ticks. I never developed a rash but it seems like I have been slowly falling apart since then. My GP is blaming it all on anxiety and is starting to imply that I'm a hypochondriac but I'M NOT CRAZY! It is not my imagination that my hair is falling out! It is not my imagination that I'm sleeping 9 hours each night and then still fall asleep during the day. It is not my imagination that I'm having heart palpitations and am dizzy and short of breath all the time! I'm so frustrated and am not sure where to turn. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Oh, just a quick follow-up. I did have bloodwork done last week for a CBC, thyroid level check, TSH and metabolic panel. Everything came out "normal."

Mishka,
I sent you a PM with some thoughts.
I'd def suggest trying to find an integrative doctor in your area who will re-consider Thyroid NOT based on the conventional tests (i.e. TSH).
Hashimoto's in particular, but both hyper & hypo, are under-diagnosed when the thyroid is malfunctioning. Very common in lyme patients.
