I was diagnosed with Lyme Disease last week after 7 months of complaining to my doctor. I have very obvious neurological symptoms that I feel arent being taken seriously (perhaps just from a lack of knowledge on my doctors part) and would like to make sure these symptoms are being taken into account for my treatment. My current treatment is Doxycycline 2x a day. Please help! I want to make sure the neurological part of the disease goes away considering that is the most debilitating (you can live with physical pain, not being able to think clearly is enough to drive any person mad)

There is a support group in Virginia Beach, VA. Look under "Chapters" at www.natcaplyme.org.
