Is it possible to have a relapse or reaccurance of RMSF? I was diagnosed by a doc in Lubbock who specializes in tick diseases (got his name on this site), he started me on 3 months of Doxcycline. Previous to this, I went to a local doc who put me on amoxiciline for almost a month. I was feeling a lot better, except when I'd get stressed I'd get aches in my joints. But,in the last couple of weeks, I am almost as bad as I was last April when I first went to the local doc.

You may have other coinfections, or Lyme disease itself complicating the picture. Or.. you were inadequately treated for the RMSF.
TX is really short on good LLMD's .. so it might be a good idea to contact the dr in Lubbock and see what more he can do for you.
