I've been having the following symptoms since the middle of October. They really make me suffered, both physically and mentally. I haven't seen any ring-like rashes except a red-dot on the left inner thigh
Week 1: Flu-like symptom. Vomitting, fever, pain in the muscle on the skull, mostly on the right and rear side of the head.
Week 2-3: Pain in the muscle on the skull, mostly on the right and read side of the head. Neck pain, mostly the back of the neck, and the muscles on both sides of the neck. Pain in the muscle that connects the neck and the shoulder. Occasionally have nausea feeling. Occasional blurry vision. Always feel like there is a congestion in the chest area when swallowing.
Week 3-present (7th week): Tired muscles on the left side of the body, mostly the left arm and left leg. Pain in the lower back. Shaking hands (mostly the left hand)and the whole body. Rapid heartbeat. Pain in the right ear, and surrounding the right ear. Slightly reduced hearing in the right ear compared to the left one.
It's been 7-8 week since I had these uncomfortable feeling. I haven't talked to my primary doctor about the possibility of Lyme disease yet. I've seen the doctor at the week 2 and week 4. The first visit, they told me it was the lingering effect of the flu. The second visit they told me the headache was cause by the pain in the neck, without treating it. I am going to see the doctor again next week, and going to bring up the lyme disease.
