Looking for a LLMD in Georgia that treats pediatric patients, please. Have a dd 11 yo. with Hg toxicity, and new onset incapcitating OCD. Have tx'd for PANDAS/PITANDS w/no cessation of symptoms [Frown] Now treating for Clostridia, too, but OCD continues to cause dd to be incapacitated. Exhausted and in dire need of more advice.
Our environmental md ran a labcorp HNK1 (CD57) panel that came back w/a low norm Abs. CD8-CD57 at 66/ul (range 60-360).
Many thanks!

There aren't even any LLMD's for adults in GA. Can you travel?

Yes, definitely can travel. I'm in GA and would prefer to find someone in another state near GA, if possible or at least on the East Coast [Smile]

WE have not been dx'd yet. We had a HNK1/CD57 serum panel drawn that showed low norm at 66 u/l. Is this enough to see a LLMD or should we pursue more testing first, then make an appt.?

Also wanted to ask if anyone has seen or experienced sudden onset OCD/PANDAS-like symptoms related to lyme? My daughter had a head/chest cold in Jan., then the OCD began to get worse and worse to the point of incapacitation. She is literally sofa-bound now b/c she has so many OCD tendencies. Heart breaking. Of note, she has heavy metal toxicity justified by a hair test. We are chelating her, and know that co-morbid bacterial infections such as Lyme go hand-in-hand w/mercury toxicity.

TIA and hugs to health,
Warrior Mommy [Smile]
