Hello,

Am wondering if anyone knows of a decent cardiologist in MA who might be aware of the implications of Lyme (Bart, Babs, etc.) on the heart. At this point, it would even be decent enough just to see a skilled cardiologist who (one can assure) won't turn up his/her nose when my history with tbd's is mentioned.

There's just got to be someone in MA with a friend or relative who happens to be a nice (and subsequently, Lyme-accepting) cardiologist...right?! Please say it is so!

Many thanks, in advance, for your kind recommendations!
Told you...

This doctor is based in Connecticut.

He is not an LLMD, but is aware, and even suggested a protocol: cat's claw and systemic enzymes.

Carol, your mailbox is unfortunately full, and therefore unable to accept messages. If you are able to empty it soon, I have a message ready (to thank you) to send.

I don't have any other information about that doctor, except that I read some of his books and articles.

You can look him up at Amazon.com and read reviews of his books.
Some of his articles are at http://www.spacedoc.com/

If he's not taking patients, perhaps you could ask him if he knows of any other cardiologists.

Indeed, Sinatra is an excellent cardiologist who can think outside of the box. Not a LLMD but I have read some things from him to indicate that he does understand lyme & TBD.

Some detail here may help in the meantime:

Carol- Thank you again for pointing me in the direction of Dr. Sinatra.

Keebler- Thank you, also, for adding add'l information on the same. I thought that the Doctor's name rang a bell...and sure enough, it was because I had seen it before on the Forum's more popular cardiac issues, etc. thread.

As mentioned...I was so hopeful to locate a Lyme-reputable cardiologist in MA, however, it is becoming almost frighteningly obvious that that sort of help doesn't exist in the Bay State. But, again, if it means that I am able to find the specialized help that I need (for my heart issues), than, I will do what I must to get to the appropriate cardiologist.

Thank you -both of you!- again, for your care and concern (help). Your time and energy mean more than you know!

Healing thoughts to both of you Lyme warriors!
Told you...

Carol/Keebler-

Would either of you be opposed to the idea of me posting a new topic re: whether or not anyone has seen this cardiologist (and include his name in the header)?

I've done some light reading on Dr. Sinatra, and am most fascinated, to say the least. But, whereas every penny that I have right now is being put towards my 'primary' tbd treatment (LLMD and related costs), I would hope to be able to communicate with someone who has actually been his patient. If not, it may be just as effective for me to acquire his books and to engage my LLMD with this cardio's heart-specific protocols.

Thank you, in advance, for letting me know if this is an okay thing for me to post about.

Again, best to you both!
Told you...

That's a fine idea, but I think your chance of finding someone on this board who's seen him are slim.

You can just change your topic to include his name. (on this thread) That way you have all info in one place and it won't clutter up the forum.

Be sure to contact the leaders for all the lyme support groups within a large radius from his location. You will likely get some good feed back that way.

Just draw a circle and work your way out. Good luck.

Dr. Stephen Sinatra wrote the foreword in a book I am reading now, Whole Body Dentistry by Mark Breiner, DDS. He sounds very good.

Also, I did recently come across the name of a holistic cardiologist in MA,
Kristine L Soly, MD, LLC

I would assume she is lyme literate, but don't know much more about her. I will PM you her contact info.
