Looking for a LLMD for DS13. Had positive band 23 IGM in 2011 and band 41 IgG but did not meet CDC standards. Have noticed 4 week cycling of mood changes, severe mental fog, joint pain, headache and bilateral eye pain, bright red cheek flushing and would like to investigate the issue.
Our zip is 27511 Cary NC.

Welcome to Lymenet! PM sent for NC.

You should include 'NC' in your title, so people will know where you are looking. Click on the pencil/paper icon, make your changes, then click on "Edit post".

Band 23 is Lyme-specific (outer surface protein of the Borrelia burgdorferi bacteria which cause Lyme).

Check the online state Lyme groups at:
http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/northcarolinalyme

Maybe they can help you.

Some more resources for you:

The top LLMD, Dr. H, has written a new book entitled, "Why Can't I Get Better?". It is an excellent source of information.

Read "Cure Unknown" by Pamela Weintraub. Check your local library or buy it used on Amazon.

Be sure to check the NC support groups listed in the menu on
the upper Left of this page.

If you put NC in your subject box, you may get more help.
