I am not sure if this is "allowed' on here. But, I just wanted to get an opinion on which doctor would be best for a 14 year old. Dr. J in DC or Dr. K in WA? I would greatly appreciate any thoughts.
Editing out doctors' names. Only first initial of a Lyme-treating doctor's last name with state given is allowed here. Please private message this poster if you have some feedback - thx - Robin

DR J in CT is the best children's pediatrician. Very elderly but knows his stuff.
I would consider others before flying to the East. I'll PM you.

As far as I am concerned, you haven't named the best children's lyme doctors.
I believe in the Burrascano protocol. Do you? Neither of these doctors follow it. But, the doctors I recommend do.
If you are going to travel from Texas for treatment, I suggest you try to get in with Dr. H. in NY. He is the top lyme doctor in the nation now that Burrascano is retired.
Send me a private message if you want the info I have on Dr. J in D.C. (he is local to me) and Dr. H. Just click on the envelope icon above my post.
Or, you may be able to get in more quickly with Dr. J. in Connecticut.
I was cured of lyme, babesiosis and bartonella once I switched to a doctor who followed the Burrascano protocol. That was over 8 1/2 years ago now. And, I had these diseases at least 10 years before I was finally diagnosed.
