Read "Cure Unknown" by Pamela Weintraub. Check your local library or buy it used on Amazon.
The top Lyme doctor, Dr. H, has written a new book entitled, "Why Can't I Get Better?". It is an excellent source of information.

phyl6648 - Both LLMDs in NC don't take insurance, and you wrote you were looking for a LLMD who takes Medicare.
I sent you a pm for two LLMDs in PA who do, if you can travel that far.

I was also told these docs are not that good and one of them is having health issues from Lyme.
