Union county or Morris county area preferred.

Have been dealing with a lot of weird health issues for the past 2+ years. Despite seeing dozens of doctors and being led in dozens of directions, no resolution has been reached.

Lyme of my general docs thought maybe I had been living with Lyme but my blood work didn't seem to show any sign and the Infectious Disease specialist he sent me to didn't do any blood work of their own, they basically told me based on the blod work I already had done and my description of symptoms, they felt my issues were more neurology based.....

I still feel like this may be Lyme related and really need to see an LLMD.

Thanks!!!!

Welcome to Lymenet! PM sent with some suggestions.

You need to be evaluated and treated by a Lyme-literate doctor (LLMD). Non LLMDs have no clue about this horrible disease or its complex treatment!

Unfortunately, LLMDs are far and few between. You need to go where they are.

Also, most LLMDs do not take insurance due to the politics surrounding this disease. Read poster TF's explanation about this:

"Why Lyme Doctors Don't Take Insurance"

Check the online state Lyme groups at:
http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/newjerseylyme

Maybe they can help.

Some more resources (including Support Group info):

The top LLMD, Dr. H, has written a new book entitled, "Why Can't I Get Better?". It is an excellent source of information.

Also read "Cure Unknown" by Pamela Weintraub. Check your local library or buy it used on Amazon.
