does anyone know of an LLMD in Texas? I haven't been able to even speak with anyone about my situation. thanks

You need to be evaluated and treated by a Lyme-literate doctor (LLMD). Non LLMDs have no clue about this horrible disease or its complex treatment!
A LLMD is one who has treated Lyme disease and the co-infections which come with it for many years and has gotten patients well. A good one will follow Dr. B's Guidelines, the "gold standard" for Lyme treatment.
The top LLMD, Dr. H, has written a new book entitled, "Why Can't I Get Better?". It is an excellent source of information.
Read "Cure Unknown" by Pamela Weintraub. Get it at your local library or buy it used on Amazon.

There is a good lyme doc here in Maryland who is treating a number of folks from Texas.
Many get an appointment with him in a few days or weeks. After the first in-person appointment, you can do telephone or Skype appointments monthly. So, you will not have to travel very often at all.
If you want the name and all the info I have on him, let me know. Texas is terrible to lyme doctors and has driven out some very good ones.
We have a lot of lyme on the east coast and so we have more lyme specialists. I think the doc in Maryland is likely better than whomever is left in Texas who is treating lyme. This is based on what I have been told by lyme patients in Texas. They try the docs there and then usually come east if they can afford it.
