Many thanks in advance for any help you might share. Went to an infectious disease doc today, who tells me I don't have Lyme based on second negative lab work results. I had Lyme back in the 1990's and I know the symptoms in my body. I had a great Lyme-literate doc who basically saved my life back then. He has closed his practice so now I need to find someone who really gets this! I'm in Cape May, NJ and am willing to travel to someone who really understands Lyme. Thank you!

Stay away from Infectious Disease doctors. They think one dose of antibiotics is enough to treat Lyme and that chronic Lyme doesn't exist.

You need to be evaluated and treated by a Lyme-literate doctor (LLMD). Non LLMDs have no clue about this horrible disease or its complex treatment!
A LLMD is one who has treated Lyme disease and the co-infections which come with it for many years and has gotten patients well. A good one will follow Dr. B's Guidelines, the "gold standard" for Lyme treatment.
Btw - you should break up your posts into 2-3 sentence paragraphs, as there are people on Lymenet who cannot read large blocks of text due to neurological problems from Lyme.
