I can give you info on all the lyme doctors in your area. My conclusion is that none are very good.

So, I recommend that those in western Pa. travel to Maryland or Washington, D.C. for good lyme treatment.

The doc is the key to getting rid of this horrendous disease, so I hope you will seriously consider this. You don't have to travel to the doc every month. They will do telephone appointments most months, so that really cuts down on the amount of travel.

Let me know what you want. Do you want the info I have on the docs in your area? Do you want the info on the 2 docs I recommend you travel to see?

One doc has at least a 7 month wait, but she is tops. The other doc has no wait, but he is good.

Let me know. I will be happy to send you what I have. Many from western Pa. and Ohio are traveling here for good lyme treatment and they are getting bettter.

It wasn't until I switched to a Burrascano type doctor that I got rid of my diseases. If you have not read and studied the Burrascano Lyme Treatment Guidelines, I strongly suggest that you do so. Then, you will know what good lyme treatment looks like.

Don't settle for lousy treatment because it is just a waste of time and money and gets you nowhere. Travel to get good treatment. You will not regret it.

Good lyme treatment is treatment with 2-3 antibiotics simultaneously and at high doses. See Burrascano for the dosages required.

Plus, treatment of every coinfection using the meds Burrascano says are best for each.

Plus, the supplements and herbs that Burrascano says are required. AND, the exercise that Burrascano requires: one continuous hour of light weightlifting every OTHER day. A full body workout each time.

This is how I got rid of my diseases. Do not neglect the weightlifting requirement. This is what boosts your immune system back to finally being a functioning immune system again. Then, when you stop treatment, you will not relapse.

I have not relapsed in over 12 1/2 years thanks to this. And, I had lyme (and babs and bart) for at least 10 years undiagnosed.

As much as I would love to go to one of these doctors you talk about, I don’t have a way to get there. I would appreciate the doctors in my area that are better than others at least.

If it's about getting there to a good doctor or choosing an inferior (or even just "okay") one nearby, contact your local AND STATE lyme support groups to see if they might have suggestions for transport such as volunteers, ride sharing with other patients, etc.

With this, the doctor with the best experience and the best practices can make a difference in you can regain life itself.

The choice of a doctor is the most important decision. I hope you find a way to get - and get to - the best treatment options possible.

In a good fit for a doctor, wisdom, experience and the ability to design an individualized treatment program for YOUR case is paramount.
