Diagnosed 15 years ago. Treated within a month. Still battling numerous debilitating issues. Plaquenil has "helped". Steroid injections for "joint" issues have occasionally helped systemically (dramatically, albeit briefly). Brief IV antibiotics for an "unrelated issue" helped dramatically, for a lengthy period of time. Looking for a LLD in or near Connecticut...

Welcome to lymenet DaveD

You need an LLMD to access all of your medical issues.
Good LLMD's are notorious for being through, 1st appointments generally last over 3 hours ! Very common.

Here are support groups in your state that you can request LLMD's names:

Also, you must read this,

http://www.lymenet.org/BurrGuide200810.pdf

It is the gold standard for Lyme treatment.
Study it.
It offers different antibiotic choices, supplements, diet changes, exercise (mandatory), testing, co-infections, ect.

You will get better if your LLMD follows these guidelines.
