Hi
Hoping for some LLMD Dr. recommendations (and who to steer clear of)? Any info would be awesome (treatment, opinion, cost, improvement, etc.)
Feel free to PM me for a less public answer.

Looking to start treatment again to really kick this thing - this time with a better LLMD.

Requested a list from the ILADS site but it just sends a list of various doctors/practitioners/etc. and picking one at random does not seem like the best course of action.

My illness really comes from a flea bite so most likely it's Bartonella. Finding someone who has expertise in treating this and helping me determine if that is the infection or if it is another would be great.

Thank you!

You did the right thing in trying to find a good Lyme-literate doctor not from a list with names, but, more importantly, personal references!

Check the online state Lyme groups at:

https://groups.yahoo.com/neo/groups/PennsylvaniaLyme/info

https://groups.yahoo.com/neo/groups/DelawareLyme/info

Maybe they can help. They would know better about PA & DE.

Some more resources for you (including Support Groups info):
www.lymepa.org [*Note: they are very knowledgeable]

http://whatislyme.com/lyme-in-delaware/

http://www.lymenet.org/SupportGroups/UnitedStates/Pennsylvania/

http://www.lymenet.org/SupportGroups/UnitedStates/Delaware/

Read the books written by the top LLMD, Dr. H, titled, "Why Can't I Get Better?" and "How Can I Get Better?". They are an excellent source of information.

God bless you on your healing journey.
