Welcome to LymeNet Wagner
Of coarse we will try to connect you with a LLMD close by to you but South Carolina is limited when it comes to Lyme Litterate Medical doctors. You might have to travel.
These are simple e-mail formats that you fill out and they respond to you with LLMD’s closest to you. It is important that you research each LLMD that is referred to you. To do this, google for patient reviews or join your local Lyme support group. Support groups members will share their personal experiences with the LLMD’s in your area.
You need to become your own patient advocate. Research Lyme disease and co-infections. Read and save Dr Joesph Burrascano’s “Lyme Diagnostic Guide”. It is the gold standard for the treatment of Tick Born Infections.
Please utilize LymeNet’s ‘search’ function located in the middle of the home page. It contains the most comprehensive information on Lyme treatments, symptoms, strategies and struggles provided by first-hand experiences of LymeNet members.
If you have questions, you can always post in the open forum and a member will respond. Good luck on your healing journey.💚
I will send you a private message.

Welcome to Lymenet! PM sent for FL- don't have any names for SC or GA.
You need to be evaluated and treated by a Lyme-literate doctor (LLMD). Non LLMDs have no clue about this horrible disease or its complex treatment!
A LLMD is one who has treated Lyme disease and the co-infections which come with it for many years and has gotten patients well. A good one will follow Dr. B's Guidelines, the "gold standard" for Lyme treatment.
Unfortunately, LLMDs are far and few between. You need to go where they are. At least half of all Lyme patients go out-of-state to get proper treatment.
Also most LLMDs do not accept insurance due to the politics surrounding this horrible disease. Read poster TF's explanation, "Why Lyme Doctors Don't Take Insurance":
Read the books written by the top LLMD, Dr. H, titled, "Why Can't I Get Better?" and "How Can I Get Better?". They are an excellent source of information.
Also read "Cure Unknown" by Pamela Weintraub. Get it at your local library or buy them used online.
Btw - I know you are new to Lymenet, but you should not use your real name, because this is a public forum with all sorts of people on it. Read this link about it:
To remove your name from the signature line, click on "Edit Profile" under Lymenet Flash in the top middle section of the Lymenet page.
Click on "Edit Profile" on the left-hand side, scroll down to "Profile Fields" then down to "Signature". Make your changes, then click "Update Profile".
