I know that it will get better soon but not soon enough.
My mom and sister are out of town until at least Thursday and they are my cheerleaders. I miss my mommy.
But I'm also thankful for all of you here at LymeNet.
I'm sorry you are missing your family.
Please think of your cheerleaders encouraging you to do healthy things.
The sleeping is ok, but make sure you also eat well and frequently and get enough hydration.
Also, remember to take some walks....outside is better than inside....good for the heart, the mind and eyesight
My dad tends to get on my case or else worry a ton when I'm sleeping a lot. I know he means well but it's hard to relax about it when I feel like I'm worrying him.
I think I'll put in a call to my psych md to see if I should up my anti-depressants and then not worry about it.
But I agree to call your dr. for his professional advise. Betty G.

I was sleeping all the time like that and then had a sleep test. It turns out I was waking 233 times a night! That was while taking tylenol and two anti-hystimines. Turns out half the waking was from pain and the other half was from histmines that the antibiotics were releaseing when they attacked the bacteria.
I got a sleep machine and that really cut down on half the time I was waking up because the machine pushed air into my lungs. I still wake up 115+ times a night from pain--but at least i am getting SOME REM.
Have you had a sleep test?

Only if you reach level 4, delta, does your body heal. I can reach level 2 only..shucky darn.

I have always needed a lot of sleep but now attribute it to Lyme. But if a CPAP machine would help that would be great.
I'll talk to my LLMD in two weeks about it. Thanks again.
Thanks goodness I don't do that anymore since I've started my treatment programs with AKG Naturals. Sounds like some of you could use their help.
Sleep definitely is good for your body, but if you don't have nutrients or water in your system that's not good. Can't run on an empty tank, you know. If I'm still tired after all that sleep there's still something wrong there. And I don't take anti-depressant because that's not what my body needs.
Get some Agaricus Blazei Murrill from www.akgnaturals.com and that really works great for CFS. I feel better within couple days.
Just do something instead of feeling sorry for yourself. It's a waste of your few hours left of precious awaking time, alright.
