My gymnastics center in Maryland is hosting two recreational gymnastics meets in late May and early June. Traditionally, we have donated the proceeds of our recreational meets to a charity and this time will be donating to a lyme disease charity. We will also be hosting a lyme information center (brochures thanks to LDA) and I'm thinking of donating the proceeds to LymeAid4Kids. Any one have any other good suggestions? The amount is usally about $500.

What about here for "lyme net message board"?

They had a fundraiser lately in fall; their ONLY annual fundraiser and were short of money at the time to be used on:

. upgrading software & expenses of lymenet board.

I'm trying to find something with broad appeal. Our customers are not lyme literate and look for something they can identify with.

Great idea, Laura! You can get info about
LymeAid4Kids by clicking on
Lyme Disease Association, Inc.
to the left on this page.

I bet the LDA would give you some of their pamphlets to give out to help educate people.
Their ABC's of Lyme seems like it would be perfect.

Good luck on this project!
