Does anyone have experience with these products for tick control in yards?
Thanks

DJP,
I bought the Diamatius earth. But after reading the label gave it away. It is very bad for your lungs because the particles are so small. I felt like I would need a ventilator or something.
If you figure out a way to use it please let me know.

diatomacious earth is made from old coral beds, mined now in desserts and such. It is not dangerous. You can mix it with water. It works by puncturing the skin and outer skeleton of the insect. I think for ticks they would not mind it a bit. Fleas its good, and other things. Mites etc. Its used in chicken houses to control mites. Its not a bad idea to put it in the window sills and door ways but I would not count on it to stop a tick.
