The Central Florida Reseach Lab is a completely different organization than Bowen. The only connection is that the CFR lab also has practitioners doing the Bowen technique at their facility. The Bowen technique is a hands on technique that balances the autonomic nervous system.
The Central Florida Research Lab is a state CLIA approved lab, AND this new Lyme Antigen Test by Flow Cytometry is now also CLIA approved.
This is a HUGE development for the Lyme community. We are talking ANTIGEN here, not ANTIBODY test.

Insurance companies will be pressured to pay for the testing. But best of all it will be very difficult for them to deny coverage for long term treatment of Lyme disease. This is because when you are retested after initial treatment for Lyme, and your test is still positive, it will show that the infection is still in your blood, and you need to continue with antibiotic treatment.
It will take time for this reality to be known, but it will eventually happen.
