our little miss contact the state board, and destroy a LLMD is over on another site I frequent making similar posts!

I begged her to just write a letter to the doctor, refuse to pay, and go see a different doctor.

I have personally had muscle testing done, and it is very interesting. you don't have to believe in it, you're intitiled to your opinion, but it does work for many people. It's hard enough for us to find treatment, and that's just going to cause more issues.

I don't understand why she is so upset and can't see the damage she will do.....

Someone had posted on another thread about attention seeking personalities. Could be that is what it is about.

Or it could be that she thought she had experienced something truly unique and couldn't wait to tell the gang here thinking she would get a lot of sympathy and support.

That didn't happen. She was probably dismayed to find that not only did she not discover and uncover something unique but that there are some here that actually believe in what she considers "hocus pocus".

There is also a lack of humility involved. She had walked out on the doctor essentially sealing the fate, so to speak. It would take a boatload of humility to admit she just didn't understand and heaven forbid she should owe anyone an apology.

It wasn't her opinions that caused the problem. It was how she presented them.

This is just MY opinion.

it would seem as though she didn't sit well over there either, as all of her posts have been removed!

When will she learn that you can't go around threatening these doctors .... that have been our ONLY saving grace!

you know the more i think about it, the more there's something else with this.

did she insult her? do something?

i mean i don't understand the vindictiveness of her attacks? you just don't go after somebody because you don't like the treatment.

something is rotten in denmark.........

just let it go, why pursue it? i don't get it...

so what's up??

Its ok to have an opinion though isn't it.

I know I paid 100.00 dollars to have bottles of pills placed in a machine and when I touched the machine (sad but I cant remember the exacts) it would determine which pills would work best on me, my food allergies etc.

I felt like I blew 100.00 but I was willing to try anything. I think it is a Joke and I wont ever do anything like that again. Buts thats my opinion. Some might believe and thats their opinion.

Why cant we express those opinions here?

You are allowed to express your opinion. It's just that when you do it to the extent it becomes the main thread on the board that it becomes a problem.

The key is moderation!

I agree. I think she got "deleted" not because her views didn't agree with the majority, but because she wants to report this popular LLMD to the medical board.

She has every right to report this doctor if this doctor went outside the scope of their license. I don't know this doctor. She may be the greatest doctor that ever lived for all I know. But if she's an M.D. practicing as a ND or something other than what she is licensed to do, then she's opening up herself for this kind of action to be taken against her.

I almost get the impression that out of desperation a large number of people here are willing to look the other way if an "LLMD" commits malpractice.

My standards are high and I expect all M.D.s and D.O.s to practice within the scope of their license. If I want to pursue an alternative route for my medical care, then I'd seek out an ND or some other practitioner licensed or certified in alternative healing.

If the M.D. or D.O. is also certified in alternative healing, then I expect them to disclose that information up front.

everyone is entitled to thier opinion....

maybe she hasn't been as sick as many of us, or maybe not as long, but I would be thrilled if I walk into my llmd's office and he has more than just abx up his sleeve....

there is NOTHING wrong with being open minded.

and if that is not what you want (someone who may have more things up thier sleeve to help you), and you have a specific treatment in mind that you think you should be receiving....well....I don't know what to say about that.....

I don't think taking it to the lengths she is it right. just because she thinks it's hocus pocus. I have done it before, and it works, many others have done it and it works.... if she is so offended by it, (I don't think she even stuck around to hear the doc out....), then just refuse to pay. BUT don't go trying to cause h*ll for someone who is genuinly trying to help us.....being as that they are FEW and FAR between.

I'm not against alternative medicine, but all physicians know to practice within the scope of their license.

You may personally be ok with a doctor surprising you with new age medicine, but there are many who when they seek out conventional medicine, expect to be treated with conventional medicine.

It is this physicians fault who pulled out her bag of alternative medicine w/out informing the patient up front that she practices this way.

It is not the patients' responsibility to know in advance that an MD or DO routinely practices outside of their license. And how would they know unless the doctor readily discloses that information.

This doctor would do herself a tremendous favor if she would just publicly disclose her mode of doctoring.

I agree with you Jaime. Although this doctor may have been somewhat out of line with her methods, LLMD's are few and far between. We don't need one of our own causing trouble.
