Has anyone had medicare pay for all or part of an infrared sauna?

I can't answer on that, but I did get my doctor to write a prescription for the exact product that I bought and I am going to write it off on my taxes.
I went with a BioMat. It is a far infrared, negative ion amethyst crystal mat. You can take a "sauna" on it if you bundle up. Take a hot bath or shower before, put on a terry robe and blanket over top and sweat!
I like it because it is comfortable (I am lying down), portable, and I can adjust the heat levels and I can even sleep on it!

If you had a test of heavy metals and medical literature, it might be considered.
I think I saw an abstract on PubMed a while back on mercury detox with this.
the sauna companies themselves might have medical literature or someone who has gone before you on this.
also, what ever other dx you might have, see if there is any medical literature to support infared and that/those dx.
