We do bare bones, school when we can , don't when we can't. So far so good.
Any neat ideas?

I used to homeschool (for ten years), but stopped four years ago. I couldn't handle it anymore ... I was not diagnosed at the time.
The kids are doing just fine in school.
However, I had difficult pregnancies and homeschooled through them ... usually lying on the couch!
It was easiest for me to use books/workbooks where the kids were pretty self-sufficient and all I needed to do was help and grade.

I'm homeschooling and getting by on the bare minimum. But she's only in K right now and is way ahead of the game. Hopefully we will be getting more done soon. I just hired a mother's helper to come by a couple times a week. She can watch my littlest ones while I cook dinner, catch up on rest, catch up on homeschooling...
Otherwise I try to make the most of every opportunity. She's learning things all the time even when we aren't sitting at the desk schooling.
