Hello,

I haven't posted here in a while, but weanted to share that my daughter's Lyme is MUCH better thanks to our wonderful LLMD. Unfortuneately, after all the work and running to get HER better and several other medical crises with my other 2 kids, Mom (me) has crashed and burned.

I am so depressed, can't concentrate at work, feel anxious all the time, can't sleep, am confused and just not myself. SOmetimes, I wonder if its neuro Lyme...because I tingle in my hands and feet...

So, now that I'm broke from my daughter's treatment and me working less recently, I cannot afford to go to the LLMD and get the IGENEX test...at least not right now.

Apart from that, I just really need a hug. Im very isolated here and am the sole support of my kids, so you can imagine the pressure to work and make those bucks (not to mention keep the health insurance)...

Love,
Elle

Sorry you're feeling down. I know exactly how you feel. You've been in a marathon race and you're getting to the finish line - the only problem is you trashed your body in the process.

As far as the anxiety, try to ask yourself if worrying will change anything. Make a list if you need to of the things that need to be done and then stop thinking about it.

Hope you're feeling better soon!

Sending you a mom hug from across the country. I have been there with my daughter. BUT, I have not done it on my own, I've had my husband's support.

You are a strong, amazing woman who has sacrificed your health for your children.
Start calling people you know and ASKING for support.

It's okay to do that.

glad to hear your daughter is doing better.

Its ok to visit the pit of despair for awhile, just don't move in.

Youve been through a lot. Be kind and gentle with yourself. When all else fails, force yourself to smile b/c

sometimes, your smile is the result of your joy and sometimes it is the reason for it.

elle, [group hug] [group hug] [kiss] [kiss] [group hug] [group hug]

your wish is my command! wish they were all this easy to reach out and grant you a much needed HUG!

look in my newbie package i sent you for this:

Melanie Reber compiled FINANCIAL RESOURCES; 20-25 pages of good info on how to survive was little or NO funds!

find it and print it off for yourself.

As others stated, make time for yourself; you come FIRST; not last. [group hug]

Dear Elle,

First here is your hug. [group hug]

Hang in there. I have two small children and a husband I am managing

Treatment for Lyme as well as myself. [Frown]

I have to remind myself that if I don't take care of myself,

I cannot possibly take the best care of my family.

It is kind of a six of one, half-dozen of the other.

Except that at the finish line, I feel well enough to celebrate,

Instead of being defeated physically, mentally and emotionally. [Frown]

Please take care of yourself. It is okay for you to do that. [Smile]

Sending you positive thoughts and prayers.

Hugs,

Geneal
